Replacing the LCD screen on an HP pavilion dv5 (dv5t to be exact)?
Hey, I'm in the middle of taking apart my HP pavilion dv5 in order to replace a cracked LCD screen and I've managed to take everything apart effectively (I even have the screen separated from the actual computer) but I'm having trouble separating the actual screen in order to take the LCD screen out. There's no screws or anything, because I guess HP was going for a sleeker look, so I'm guessing I should pry it open but I'm scared of breaking the plastic surrounding the screen if I'm wrong. Any advice? I would greatly appreciate it.
